Things are slowly getting back to normal around here. Thankfully Coconut is improving a little more day by day. It would be wonderful if she gets back to her old self 100% but I will take this too -she is eating and playing with her toys and it's great to see that.
The hubby and I tried to enjoy a day out, a nice little treat; since Coconut got sick we have been home a lot. So nonetheless there was a fair amount of wine for me and some Black Spice Rum for him. Relaxation indeed. We visited with some family and friends for a bit and did a little "fritzying" around but I tell you what- there really is nothing like being in your pjs, watching a movie at home all warm, fuzzy and cuddled up. The best way to beat the frigid temps! I think that was the best part of the weekend for me. Finally caught up on some Netflix dvd's! It was sad but true for a while, that we were so busy we didn't even have tome to watch a movie. It's sad when Netflix reminds you to stock up your queue.
Speaking of... I can't believe how soon it will be 2014! I sure hope it begins a lot better than 2013 ended (more like spiraled downward). I really shouldn't complain, things are looking up. Though I'd like a little break from the stress if that's ok?
I want to go back to shopping and dreaming for a bit. New York City is calling my name. I can't continue ignoring it!
