I saw this on Pinterest and instantly felt giddy.  Ever have one of those days that just makes you feel less than (put noun here)? Well me too. Some days it's other people, some days it's your health, others it's just being a girl...I try to not let the blues take up residence in my head for too long.  Some powerful words of encouragement always do the trick. Fortunately for me I have a great husband, a wonderful mom and friends to remind me how trivial these things that get me down can be.  And when I need a quick pick me up, I find motivating images and phrases to give me a little boost.  So far, this latest one may be my favorite.  I hope it makes you feel good too.

The temps are dropping day by day here in the Northeast.  With highs of 42 and lows of 28 with a wind chill, it's no wonder most of us are hiding indoors.  So to take my mind off the blustery weather I have been keeping warm and cozy with delicious coffee flavors, some rich dark chocolate and the cutest sweaters. 

So you came... and tore things up...and ruined my weekend because we were busy prepping for the storm instead of out enjoying our time off!  OK. Enough venting.  I will say- I am hoping that everyone and everything in the Tri-State Area is fine.  I am spending my time waiting for the she-devil to rear her ugly head on my laptop, shopping, browsing, pinning...writing...wait- it actually doesn't sound much different than a usual day.  

Anyhoo- I saw a clever picture depicting Hurricane Sandy as Sandy from "Grease"...how she changed her look and got fiercer and fiercer.  I thought about what the 2012 version of Sandy would be like.  So- this post is inspired by her.   The Sandy we like- not the other one.  (boo.)
