Blizzard of 2015... Or lack thereof

So thankfully, the big blizzard blowout was a dud. The talk of two and three feet shortly fizzled out by later Monday night when it seemed Snowmageddon was not coming for us after all (Phew!) and we were all barricading ourselves in for nothing. I'm not complaining, I know some people are, I stopped getting excited over snow since we moved back from Florida.  it makes us realize why we left.

Anyhoo, I am for one ready for Spring. It's not easy walking Coconut here at our "Sorority house" apartment. Parking is a nightmare and let's just say that the plow guys are less than eager to do their job. For anyone who is in the tropics right now... And you know who you are - I'm officially jealous. You left at the perfect time. We on the other hand had no other option but to hunker down with our beverages of choice, do some heavy snowstorm snacking and decide what pj's to wear.

And there is another storm on the horizon to boot... (Insert thumbs down emoji here).  So to get mt through, I have been pinning away on Pinterest, doing a little writing and catching up on 33% full DVR.  Here's hoping Monday's storm is another dud.

In the meantime, here's a little tropical inspo:

{2015}

   Ah yes- 2015.  So many hopes, so many dreams in the years past.  Don't get me wrong- I'm still hoping and dreaming... I'm writing (check out sohlinthecitybehindthecounter.blogspot.com- and yes that was a shameless plug). I'm still blogging, though my posts have been a little irregular,  (bear with me please!) The husband and I are also furniture shopping for the new house, (pictures coming soon!) YEP there's lot of things on my plate - including what seems to be an endless assortment of cookies.

   But all I'm really hoping for this year is for some peace of mind, a little break from stress (I know I know- keep dreaming) and my loved ones to be healthy. Sure a beautiful pair of shoes or two (or three) would be nice, so would a gorgeous handbag.  But I digress, I'm thankful that right now I am flu free, Coconut is still fighting and my family and friends are doing well.

I'm not scurred 2015... But I'm watching you!
