{Top 10}

I'm getting the itch to update my wardrobe (and do a little donating a.k.a. Spring cleaning) and I know exactly what I want...it goes a little something like this:

1.  A new Springy fragrance, like CARVEN LE PARFUM. A fresh floral fragrance with a whiff of French flair.

2.  A FAB pair of sky high wedges like this Key West wedge.

3.  A Faux leather dress for cool rooftop nights like this laser cut number!

4.  J.LO glow- nuff said. I'll get it with The Ultimate Bronzing Palette.

5.  The most darling swimsuit like the Betsy Johnson skirtini and triangle top.

6.  A shortie pair of wells to wear with a cute skirt and knee high socks in the rain, the Rag & Bone Short Boots would be nice...

7.  A lightweight BB cream that blurs lines and pores?  Yes please and thank you Mr. Peter Thomas Roth!

8.  A wristlet for those walks on the boardwalk or in the city like this Reiss travel wallet.

9.  An easy peasy dress to throw on in a hurry like this cute Dot Dress from Splendid.

10. And finally a pair of overalls, yes I said it.  Only I would pair these Citizens of Humanity 'Drama Quincey' Overalls  with a blazer and chic heels.  Perfect dinner look.

What's on your Spring wish list?

{My Latest...}

A beautiful weekend called for some outside time in NYC.  A Broadway show and a delicious dinner at Anejo in Hell's Kitchen.  The best tequila (or so the husband said) and the best mushroom tacos for me.  A cup of cake batter frozen yogurt later and we were officially stuffed.  A glorious night that makes me appreciative of where we live.

Besides that- this is what else I've been up to on Instagram.  Hope your past week has been great as well!

{Marching through March}

The days are flying, I'm actually losing track of my days.  For two days straight I thought it was Wednesday... until it finally was. The snow is melting and we had two days of 60 degree weather which has been nice, people are happier and I feel like the living are well... joining the living.  I'm trying to enjoy the days myself, cherish the little moments and not wish my life away for the weekend to get here.  I've been in such a rush lately that I know for a fact I am not living in the present.  I'm so busy planning ahead, thinking about my next move and what I can't let slip me by.  It's actually exhausting.  No wonder by nighttime I am beat and frankly not in the best of moods.  Mind racing can really get to one's heart.  I even cut back on caffiene in hopes of slowing my heart rate down.  (Thank God for Gevalia decaf by the way) All in all, I really need to slow the heck down.

Sometimes things happen in life that make you realize it's time to do just that- slow down and to reflect on how even the most mundane moments in life are well...precious.

Like Coconut, I have to remember that sometimes it's ok to just sit in the sun.

{Getting Warmer}

Isn't it something how when the sun is out, birds are chirping and flowers are blooming how much happier everyone seems to be?  In the midst of the big thaw, it's nice to take some time to slow down and get a breath of fresh air.  The hubs and I had our moonroof open today, it was the first time since last Summer.  It felt so nice to take a drive and let the day take us wherever it pleased.  It was so pleasant out I can almost smell the tanning spray and the salty air of the beach.  Yes, friends, it's almost time for flip flops and casual sundresses.... for sun-kissed skin and loose braided hair.  For Cool drinks by the pool, ice cream on the boardwalk, sand in your toes....Summer is on it's way along with everything we love about it.

However, I know there will be some ups and downs in the temperature in the meantime...the weather loves to tease (It's so mean)... So! Here are some Pinterest pics to get you by until then...
