Sometimes I forget how charming the area where I live can be.  The farm land, the chickens- yes chickens, and sheep and horses are close by too.  Don't get me wrong, I would trade it in a second for a quaint little apartment in the West Village.  But New Jersey has some perks.  It's always quiet when we come home.  So peaceful, that in the Summer I would hear frogs and all sorts of animal species chirping in the night.  It almost felt like being back in Florida.  There's a certain calm about green grass, open blue skies and horse farms.  You can almost feel transported... But when I need a wake up call, NYC is only 45 minutes away.  Do I love it?  No.  But it's growing on me, and I'm finding little spots here and there that are adding to its charm.
